12 year old girl arrested for robbery – her action was influenced by channel 7 lakorn “Tidawanorn”

12 year old fan of channel 7 lakorn “Tidawanorn” was arrested yesterday during a stealing spree. Her adopted father revealed to the police officer that his daughter is obsessed with the lakorn and doesn’t seem to be interested in anything else rather than climbing trees. The girl has lost all interest in her schooling and confessed that her reason for stealing is because she wanted money to buy clothes and accessories like the cast from the lakorn.

The 12 year old was captured at a house in Karksin owned by Wichai Chunchareon, aged 52. At the time when the police arrived on the premises the girl was hiding near the rice bucket. His house has been robbed 8 times by this young girl.

Wichai revealed the girl has stolen cash, jewelery and some other cheap valuables. He found her in action when he came home one day and saw his house in a state of mess. He inspected around to see what was wrong and caught the girl sitting near the rice bucket. He asked her how she got in, she said she came through the window.

At the station, the 12 year old was questioned by the officer and revealed she stole because she wanted some of the jewelery from this house because it resembles the jewelery worn by the stars in this lakorn. She also said she stole money so she could buy some clothes which are similar to the attire worn on the lakorn. The 12 year old said she has a personal passion for ”Tidawanorn” and has practiced climbing trees and houses on a regular basis and this was the method she used for house robbery.

  1. I think a 12 year-old girl is smart enough to not rob because she saw it on t.v.
thats most likely not to happen since her brain has already developed…

  2. 0.o this little girl is in need of counseling.

  3. Wow – OMG

  4. never watch this dramas so i’m not sure what it’s about but if i have to guess she’s tarzan girlfriend?….lol
and for that 12yr old kid if she really want to be like tarzan girl just ditch her in the deep jungle so she can clime all the tree she want…problem solve!!…jk i dont have kids so this is what i plan to do this man crazy obbesse child.. :D

  5. She’s only 12, that’s still young
She has fully developed yet, so she’s easily influenced
Like it happens to everyone, but not as bad, like when you were younger you’d act out your fave shows and stuff
But she took it too the next level, stealing jewellery because it resembles the ones worn in Tidawanorn

  6. At 12 years old I think I was mature enough to distinguish between right and wrong. This girl just needs help.

  7. This is just crazily hilarious. My nephews loves to watch TV but they were never influenced to kill, steal, run away, etc… and they are not even 5. By what I said, I don’t mean fighting more like pushing and shoving each other for toys (it’s common with all children). That girl needs a reality check. Ahahaha!!!

  8. Nowadays, people can make excuses by using lakorn influence !!! amazing…

  9. at the age of twelve she should know by now, i was that age only 2 years ago. i know the lakorn but i dont like it cause it drags on to much and its not my type, it just seems to childish? funny im not even that old yet- not that i dislike the actors i LOVE new- i just dont like the story line.

  10. What happened to her parents. They should be teaching her. The parents as well as the kid are at fault. http://bobbygee.wordpress.com/

  11. bad. never thought a lakorn could actually do that or have that much influence

  12. w/o proper guidance, children cannot make the right choice. no one is teaching them right from wrong at that point. you have to wonder if her parents are guiding her properly or if they are letting her do whatever she wants and not teaching common sense and right from wrong. so you cant say that one should know any better if their environment is not healthy..

  13. yeah lakorns really do influence people, like idk if you heard but a while back when kom fak came out some boys at school started hitting eachother with sticks resembling the “kom fak” & i think someone got hurt bad thats why it was on the news.

  14. I think the girl may have some mental problems and is a little overly obsessed. She needs help and guidance.

  15. Thais love to blame the media because let’s face it…educating your kids, monitoring them, and finding help for them when they need it takes a whole lot more work than pointing fingers at TV. And what concerned Thai parent will find psychological help for their children? That’d be admitting that their kid was mentally ill and we all know what a social stigma that is in Thai society…so let’s blame lakorn!

  16. Someone get this gal some counselling!! She has gotten to the point where she is obsessed and not in control of her actions! I think she mite be mentally unstable as well.
