Recent news dubbed Nathan Oman as a con artist after a string of victims stepped forward to publicized their story of how Nathan, the so called, “Hollywood star” scammed their money.

First off, his former maid came out to reveal her unfortunate story with tears in her eyes about how Nathan ‘borrowed 300,000 baht from her and never returned the funds’.

Then another sorry victim came forward with a similar story, except this time, his victim is famous. Victim number two is the grandmother of “Aom”, a sick girl who suffered from a rare skin disease. Her story was featured on popular TV Show “Joh Jai” many years ago where Nathan appeared on the show to help Aom make her dream come true – her dream was to meet “Beam” D2B and Nathan made it all possible. On that show, Nathan was Mr Nice Guy.

Until last week, Aom’s grandmother came out to unmasked the truth about Nathan, the man who took advantage of her sick granddaughter and scammed Aom for money. The con artist who claimed to be her friend, ran off with her money and never bothered to visit her while she was sick in hospital and when she died, he never went to her funeral.

The interview by Aom’s grandmother which made talk of town was published by Manager online. The story made Beam D2B look like a hero and Nathan look like a villain with “Aon” Sarawuth Martong as potential partner in crime.

In one part of the interview Aom’s grandmother revealed the reason why Nathan said he needed to borrow money from Aom;

“Nathan said he was in trouble. It was during the tsunami, his friend took his money. Money he needed to repair the damages on Morgan Island, where he was stranded there with Aon Sarawuth. He told Aom he needed to borrow her money because ‘his friend’ stole charity money from him. That was the story he told her”

“Aon” Sarawuth was deeply troubled by the news as most people assumed Nathan’s friend is Aon himself. The actor held a press conference to deny provoking Nathan to borrow money from Aom.

“I only just found out about this today, so many people are calling me to tell me to hold a press conference other wise my reputation will be tarnished along with him”

“The money we used to help the people of Morgan Island was money in which we raised from a group fund raising activity. For me money is a very sensitive topic. Especially when it comes to charity money. I want this to be clear and I don’t want to involve any third party into this. I just want to tell my side of the story, I never took charity money so I don’t need to worry about anything. I am innocent and I will continue to participate in more charity work but I probably wouldn’t want anything to do with Nathan anymore”

Apparently you are one of the people who accepted all the incoming donations in the project?

“How is that relevant? When we were working on that, from what I remember we raised money from painting T-shirts. We made about 600,000 baht and we transferred all the money to the people. The press knew all about it and Nathan never donated his own money. I confirm there’s no fraud involved, it was very clean”

How is your relationship with Nathan now?

“I don’t want to talk about it. I’m the kind of person who will get upset if something I say bears an impact on another person. I don’t want to cause trouble for other people and I confirm all donations were passed on to charity and not used for any other means”

Have you spoken to Nathan since?

“I have spoken to him, I told him to take care of his life”
