Because Chakrit Yamnam is often involved in a relationship with rich women, there’s been allegations claiming him to be a gold digger and that’s the reason why he’s now dating Hiso “Petch” Pongpoon Benjarongkul.

The famous actor didn’t appear too impressed by the accusation but he feels it’s normal in a relationship where one side comes from a big and wealthy family.

“I talked to Petch about this and we laugh about it everyday because we know there’s going to be news like this in the tabloid. Some will say she’s clinging off me for fame and people will say all sorts of things but it’s okay I’m a man and it’s my job to take care of the famale. I can make my own money, what’s the big issue? I don’t know why people can’t just focus on people’s feelings. I don’t believe people have bad intention”

How do you feel when people ask you about this?

“It’s just a question, I feel it’s normal and I’m not the only one being accused. A lot of other people are getting the same news and allegations and I feel just as long as I know what I’m doing then it’s okay. Normally when my friends come across rumours they will ask me about it. But I can’t stop rumours”

“I like her because our personalities clicked. Our lives are very similar. I barely have to adjust to anything, we can talk openly. One negative thing about our relationship is probably our flaws, and I have a lot of that, but it’s not too bad. We can accept each other and I’m not an evil person, not the kind who gives her trouble so it’s a good thing she’s able to accept my flaws”
