At last her dream came true, actress Kwan Aussamanee and her mama drove her SLK 200 to show off to the staff at Thairath office. The actress clarifies that her new ride came from her hard earned cash and not from the pocket of a rich sugar daddy.
“I like cars, ever since I was a kid because my dad likes cars too so I like it as well. I started driving when I was in high school and my mother only allowed me to drive on my own last year”
Are you afraid that people will think some sugar daddy bought this car for you?
“Of course someone is bound to think like that but I’m not open to too many criticism, I only take the critics from people close to me. To me I think to be able to get something that you’ve always dream of is worth it, it’s worth the risk of having to be criticized”
You confirm that you bought this yourself?
“Yes, honestly I’ve been asking my mom to buy me another sport car that’s cheaper than this one but my mom went to asked a senior and the senior said to buy this one. At first my mom didn’t tell me until we went out to eat one day and a Benz pulled up and I stared at it and thought, :”I like this car.” Then the chauffeur walked into the shop and gave my mom the keys”
“First I thought maybe he knows my mom and probably just asked her to mind the keys but then my mom passed the keys to me and said, go drive it. I was really happy”
“But ever since then she’s been putting me under pressure about it everyday saying how it cost 4 million baht and we have no more savings left and I have to work hard now”
So now you have everything you want, a house and a Mercedes
“Yes but I want to build a bigger house so all my relatives can come and live with me, it will be nice and warm but now I can only plan.”

Maybe she meant that it’s her own money that her mom used to buy it for her. Majority of the young stars give all their money to their parents to keep anyways and when they want something, their parents buy it for them using their money.

How come the slk200 is more expensive in thailand? Though if you were to convert 4 million baht to USD…its around $117,000.00 but if you look it up online..its only valued around $50,000
I think they have to pay more (import) tax so the price is higher, like used car in Laos is more expensive than a brand new car in the US, but amazingly people in Laos have cash to pay for it.
The car look good but dont like Kwan. I think some of the money is her but some might be from her hiso buddy, I dont think she can save that much money because she like to shop and have to pay for school and more.

BUTTONS, here the tax for cars with high CC is very expensive so then yeah, in the US, it might be that much but with all the transfering/government tax, the cost is much higher.

Sweetheart, I didn’t say they didn’t get published, I said, ” they don’t go look what I bought.” It’s Kwan’s money and she earns the right to buy whatever she likes, I’m glad for her. My problem was why pose by the car, b/c it’s tacky to ME. I’ve seen reports on other celeb cars and they were just random photos of their car parked somewhere random. If the pictures were just for HER then whatever, but this was for the media. We know she has money so why have a photoshoot by it. It’s not just Kwan that does it either and I have the same feelings towards them. Good for them, I’m sure they worked hard for it…but do we really need to have them vogue in front of their cars. That’s great that Kwan finally got her dream car. But I checked online for the actual price and it was 2,650,000 baht; which makes it 77,426.26 USD. I’m not a big fan of Mercedes Benz, I’m more of a Lamborghini Revention girl.
